Some Travel Duas that Muslims Can Recite
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prescribed various duas for Muslims to recite on different occasions. The occasions range from the most mundane acts to some of the most important things a person does in his life. Since Islam is a complete way of life, it covers all aspects of life. Dua For Traveling is something that is often fraught with danger, and hence, we should seek Allah’s protection while going on a journey. Here are some of the duas for travelers:

For someone else who is traveling
Astaudi’ullaha dinaka, wa amanataka, wa khawatima’ amalaka Meaning: I leave your religion in the care of Allah, as well as your safety, and the last of your deeds. Allahumma atwee lahul bu’ da wahawwin ‘alayhis-safara O Allah shorten the distant for him and ease for his journey.
Dua when leaving home

Bismillahi tawakkaltu’ alallahi wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah In the name of Allaah, I place my trust in Allaah, and there is no might nor power except with Allaah.
Dua that a traveller should recite

AllahuAkbar, AllahuAkbar, AllahuAkbar, Subhan allazee sakhkhara lana haza wamaa kunna lahu muqrineen, wa’innaa’ilaa Rabbinaa lamun qaliboon.
Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. Glory is to Him Who has provided this for us though we could never have had it by our efforts. Surely, unto our Lord, we are returning.
Dua when returning home
Aai boona taai boona ‘aabi doona li rabbi na haami doon We are returning, we repent to Allah, we worship Allah, we glorify only Allah.
